It’s been a month, let’s get to it…
Pick Up #4:
1.) Carry On (orange) and Give Up The Ghost (black and blue) reprints from B9.
2.) Devotion - Bastard Son of Affluence Blues (black). My band played with them last month, awesome stuff. SOD - Speak English or Die! (black), reprint. Phobia - Cruel (lavender brown with spots), Danny Walker is one of my favorite drummers.
3.) Motley Crue - Girls Girls Girls and Def Leppard - Hysteria. Two of my all time favorite bands, these are the original pressings.
4.) Naysayer - Laid to Raid, preorder, clear, came with t-shirt.
5.) Here are some of the 7”…
Iron Age - The way is Narrow (black), Iron Age - Butcher’s Bill (black, solid EP), Verse: Live at Sound and Fury 7/27/07 (couple hundred pressed I believe), Last Priest - We All Failed (ex Find Him and Kill Him), SOS - I Owe You Nothing (black and gold), Wisdom in Chains - Pocono Ghosts (United Blood 2011 version).
Sorry to anyone who looks at this thing and/or checks this thing. I was unemployed for about 4 months so getting records wasn’t really a priority. BUT I did get a new job last week and have some great new shit coming, so yeah, updates soon, I promise.

From the Collection #2: I wouldn’t say that I have a ton of records, but I have a lot. Also, I don’t really go out of my way to do a collection of bands I like, as I feel it’s too difficult to collect EVERYTHING (though sometimes I wish I did and could) and sometimes the prices people attach to records are fucking outrageous. BUT The Aftermath from Washington DC is a band that I still do actively collect. The Aftermath were a smaller harDCore band, more well known in the mid-Atlantic (especially DC) hardcore scene in the early to mid 2000’s, and unfortunately I never saw them live. I picked up the Welcome to Wash DC EP at a record store in Philadelphia because I recognized the record label and it said DC on the cover (I grew up in Arlington VA). To say the least I literally fell for the record, it was angry, intense, and to the point. After discovering the band and then getting blown away by the EP I started hunting down their other releases. I’ve had some success so far in tracking some down, mostly because I lived miles away from some DC record stores, but it’s been challenging overall as they weren’t all that popular and there weren’t that many presses made for their various records. The Dumb and Unaware EP is proving to be the most difficult to get so far as it was their first release, but overall I’m still looking to collect more records from this band, to include the test presses.
Pick Up #3:
1. Uniform Choice - Screaming for Change LP, wishingwell records, 2nd pressing, hardly played, comes with insert.
2. The Unseen - So this is Freedom? LP, A-F Records, original pressing, comes with insert, shrink-wrap still on. Got this for 7 bucks, kind of surprised. Very nostalgic record for me, reminds me of my freshman year of college.
3. Converge - When Forever Comes Crashing LP, original pressing, black, comes with insert, hardly played. Hard to believe I was able to get this, apparently it was put on the floor hours before I arrived to shop around. Absolutely love this record, it’s in a three way tie for my favorite Converge release along with Jane Doe and the Poacher Diaries.
